The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, have issued Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 06/2026 for the recruitment of various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level posts. A total of 3,548 vacancies have been announced across Indian Railways. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official RRB application portal.

The recruitment notification announces vacancies for the following graduate-level posts:

Candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification, as specified in the official notification. Applicants awaiting the final results of the prescribed educational qualification are not eligible to apply. Candidates should check the post-wise requirements in the notification before submitting the application.
The prescribed age group is 18 to 33 years as on 01 January 2027. Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved-category candidates and other specified categories according to the rules mentioned in CEN No. 06/2026.
Candidates must verify their date of birth and applicable age relaxation before applying.
The examination fee is prescribed as follows:
Eligible candidates who appear in the first-stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will receive the applicable refund after deduction of bank charges, subject to the conditions specified in the notification.
The notified posts fall under Level 5 and Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Allowances and other benefits are governed by the applicable Railway rules.
The recruitment process includes the following stages, as applicable:
Selection will be based on merit, post-specific requirements, applicable reservation rules and the prescribed medical standards.
The first-stage Computer Based Test is common to the notified posts.
The examination duration for eligible candidates permitted to use a scribe is 120 minutes. Candidates should refer to the notification for qualifying marks and detailed examination instructions.
The dates for CBT examinations, document verification and other recruitment stages will be announced separately through the official RRB websites.
Candidates should submit only one application for this recruitment and select their preferred RRB carefully. Multiple applications may lead to rejection and debarment.
