Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, Technical Examination Board or university, or an equivalent diploma qualification recognized by the concerned department.

• Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed under the applicable Gujarat Civil Services rules.

• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Important: Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering are not eligible to apply under the qualification clause specified in the official notification.

Candidates with certain recognized equivalent diplomas, including Civil Construction, Civil Environmental Engineering, Construction Technology, Survey Engineering and Transportation Engineering, may also be eligible as specified in the notification.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹26,000 for the first five years.

Following five years of satisfactory service and subject to applicable conditions, candidates may become eligible for the regular Level-4 pay scale of ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 under the Seventh Pay Commission.
